Feel like I must have been watching a different game. Thought Rooney was average at best, can't remember him creating anything of note. Hope he doesn't start at the Euros (although no doubt he'll be the first name down)

Seeing as how they totally dominated central midfield in the cup game, the turn around last night was extraordinary. Nobke and kouyate barely out a foot wrong and some of nobles turns and touches were the sort commentators would cream tgenselves over if it was Ali or Henderson
A perfect display from our captain in those circumstances

agreed soldo...
Rooney needs to play like that at the Euros...excellent range of accurate play switching passes...
...ran out of steam thankfully...
Carrick made a difference ...Hodgson should include him in the squad...

You'd have to be Blind to think Blind was motm.

Kouyate was like a machine last night but Noble was a man possessed and gave everything out there last night. The roar that went up when he got the MOTM must have put a lump in his throat.
Fucking love him.

Wonderful season...
And to think Fatty had him playing second fiddle to Nolan when Nolan was way past it wandering around midfield...not contributing much...

Add Bilic to the list of characters who embrace the club's mentality.
His tears at the end almost set me off.
Compare that to an image of fatty standing there chewing gum and it adds even further vindication that this was the right change for this club.

Possibly his best ever performance last night. Wonderful. Gritty. Inspirational.
A few times he went flying in and I thought it was only time before he was carded but no he kept a lid on it.
Well done Marky son

Up until this season I was on the fence with him, but he has won me over big time now. Been immense this season and making him captain has clearly inspired him onto greater things. Yes, he still misplaces the odd past, but most players do. Proud that he's our skipper.

This season he has been immense.
Just a word on kouyate. Absolute monster. He was everywhere. I don't think I've seen any player make so many chest passes, show his awareness, which means we retain possession as opposed to just heading it clear.
